Loved the veggie tacos and the Cali burrito vegetarian style. The service was excellent and the time it took to get the order was very good. The place is small but luckily it wasn't too crowded, and I was taking the food to go. I'd definitely recommend and come back.

This place was on top of my list to check out because the reviews. And overall, it's pretty good, but it's not great. I went here on a Thursday afternoon with a few friends. We entered and the restaurant was pretty empty. We were immediately greeted by the staff, and asked to order. It's a very limited menu, so if you don't want a burrito or tacos, this really isn't your place. We ended up each ordering a two taco Birria with cheese combo. My buddy ordered rice and beans as sides, and I got a side of guacamole. When I got the tacos, I was extremely excited. When I took my first by without adding anything on it, I realize the meat was very under seasoned. Even after I dunked it in the consome, it's still lacked flavor. Thankfully all of the salsas at the salsa bar helped with this. I tasted every salsa, and really couldn't find a bad salsa. But my biggest disappointment was that the meat didn't taste good on its own. Good food doesn't need to hide behind other flavors. The beans and the rice we're pretty tasty. The beans had a nice creamy flavored to them, and the rice was not overcooked, but fluffy and soft. The guacamole was lackluster. It honestly tasted more as though someone just mashed a bunch of avocados and called it guacamole. No salt, no flavor, and just bland. All things considered, this place is OK. If I'm in the area, I may stop by, but there are just too many tastier choices to make this place a regular location for me.

Yesterday, my family and I were on our way to the Sephora nearby and happened to see MRT. Mexican food is our favorite, so we made a commitment to try this place. I got the 2 birria tacos, my wife the bean had cheese burrito, and the kids got two cheese quesadillas. The beans were delicious and the cheese is melty and tasty. My birria tacos were amazing. Not a lot of places serve good meat like this, but MRT is a hidden gem. The service was great, too. I was able to order online and my order was ready faster than I expected. I found parking easy and it took two seconds to get my food. It's a five-star place and the value is hard to beat! The salsa was really good. Not as spicy as I'm used to, but I lapped it up nevertheless. The food is FRESH which is their secret. I recommend this place!

Tried this gem near my house for the first time and am so excited to have a reliable taco spot that is delicious and well-packaged! I got the Combo #2 (2 birria tacos without cheese), which comes with a soup, toppings for your tacos, and tortilla chips. You get a third birria taco on Taco Tuesday too!! I was surprised they fry their tortillas, but it wasn't greasy. Good texture but def needs to be eaten ASAP. Service was quick on a Tuesday during the lunch rush with barely anywhere to sit. There is communal outdoor seating in the plaza which was perfect for us since they text you when your food is ready. The combos were well priced, given the generous toppings and so neatly organized around the soup, which I didn't quite care for (tasted like chili broth). What I love about this place especially is their kickass salsa bar. I love the variety of spice levels and flavors (the chunky salsa ended up being my favorite flavor-wise even though I'm a sucker for spice). Will definitely return!
